A wine with an intense garnet red color. It offers aromas of aromatic herbs, flowers, and dark-fleshed fruit, mint, and pepper. A wine with a compact and sinuous structure, taut, dense, and velvety tannins, and a savory and balsamic finish.

VINIFICATION

Manual selection of grapes, harvest time: October. Fermentation and maceration for approximately 40 days, pumping over and délestage, with the cap submerged for the last 20 days.

 

REFINEMENT

Aged in 25, 35, 40, or 50 hl Austrian oak barrels for 18 to 30 months. Further refinement in bottle before release.
