RESPECT FOR THE LAND AND TRADITION

The winemaking choices are based on full recognition of the local grape varieties, highlighting the grandeur of the crus and terroirs, the nature of the grape varieties, and the unique characteristics each brings to the wines.

We operate in the vineyard according to a rational and non-invasive philosophy: the minimum possible interventions, only when necessary, studied row by row.

The deep respect we have for our vineyards has led us to choose an even more environmentally friendly vineyard management system. This is why in Serralunga d'Alba we grow certified organic Nebbiolo grapes, and all the other estate grapes are certified as sustainable integrated production.

THE HARVEST

THE CELLAR

We have a clear idea of wine: the most authentic expression of a territory, never surly or monumental, but always welcoming and approachable.

Winemaking follows traditional methods, adopting the best technologies to preserve the varietal purity of the wine, without exaggeration or tradition. The awareness that each harvest has its own unique value and character drives us to adapt our winemaking processes to each vintage, showcasing its unique characteristics.

In keeping with tradition, Garesio favors long fermentations and macerations in steel barrels, delicate and balanced extractions.

The use of wood is carefully measured. We favor large and medium-sized barrels, tonneaux, and Austrian oak casks. For our flagship wines, we use Stockinger barrels: Austrian oak aged for at least seven years, which refine and soften the character of Serralunga Barolos.

THE WINERY

Along with the search for vineyards, the Garesio family has recently completed an ambitious project of

redevelopment of the ancient farmhouse of Serralunga d'Alba, transforming it into a refined complex of

charm.

Starting in 2010, the family acquired approximately 20 hectares of land dedicated to wine production, divided between Serralunga d'Alba, the heart of the Barolo Langhe; Incisa Scapaccino and Castelnuovo Calcea in the Monferrato area; and Perletto in the Alta Langa.

Along with their vineyard research, the Garesio family recently completed an ambitious redevelopment project of the ancient farmhouse in Serralunga d'Alba, transforming it from a winery into a refined, charming complex. Inside the brand-new Resort, visitors can immerse themselves in the exceptional beauty of the Serralunga and Barolo hills, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, tasting our wines and relaxing body and spirit. The suites, finely furnished and equipped with every comfort, await guests in a modern and minimalist yet warm and comfortable setting.
